Full job description:

Powerscourt Golf Club is a 36-hole golfing destination situated in the beautiful Powerscourt Estate, Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow. We are currently seeking to employ full-time greenkeepers to work on both courses.


Successful candidates need to be competent in a wide range of tasks associated with the daily presentation of the course.  We are selling a golfing experience and expect all staff to have a keen eye for detail and a friendly manner while interacting with members and guests. The maintenance team carry out all cultural and cultivation practices in-house, the career orientated greenkeeper will get great exposure to all greenkeeping practices and will also be involved in the construction side of golf course maintenance as projects arise.


Qualifications and spraying certificate are preferred, but not a necessity. We are looking for motivated candidates that have an eye for detail. The position typically requires a 39-hour working week with additional hours for weekend work.


We offer an in-house apprenticeship or external greenkeeping course to get your greenkeeping qualifications. We train staff in first aid and manual handling, chain saw, spraying and heavy machinery training.
